What is the meaning of the name Sol Robots?

Robots designed and manufactured in the provincial region of the Milky Way Galaxy known as the solar system.

But you don't make robots, do you?

No, not currently, but we sure would like to someday.

Isn't the name a bit presumptuous?

Yes, a little, but U.S. Robotics was taken.

How about the name Galactic Robotics?

We have limits to our presumption. 

How do you pronounce Sol?

We pronounce it like you would pronounce the sole of a shoe, or a person's soul.  Some people pronounce the word like s+all but we think that sounds a bit funny.
